Dominic Reeves

My name is Dominic, and I am a graduate of Lanier High School. I graduated with honors, earned multiple scholarships, and received a varsity letter in marching band. Over the past seven years, I have been actively involved in the band program, performing in several ensembles including Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Mastery Band Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Indoor Percussion Ensemble.

Throughout my experience in these ensembles, I have played a variety of instruments, including saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, tuba, French horn, glockenspiel, and bass drum. During high school, I participated in marching band all four years, serving as Woodwind Captain during my junior year and Drum Major during my senior year.

My dedication to the band program was recognized through the Directors Award, along with several other plaques and honors. I look forward to continuing my musical involvement at Middle Georgia State University, where I plan to major in Aviation.

Katherine Drury

My name is Katherine Drury, and I am a member of the Lanier Band Class of 2026. This fall, I plan to attend the Honors Program at University of Georgia, where I will major in Chemistry or Public Health. My goal is to become a Physician Assistant specializing in endocrinology.

During my time with Lanier Bands, I participated in eight seasons of Color Guard and served on the Guard leadership team during my senior year. Through this program, I have built countless meaningful connections and created memories that will stay with me for years to come. I am incredibly grateful for my experience with this band program and excited to continue supporting and celebrating the seasons ahead.

Violet Brockmann

My name is Violet Brockmann, and this fall I will be attending the KSU Honors College to study Music Education.

Throughout all four years of high school, I performed with both the LHS Marching Band, Concert Band, and Wind Ensemble with bassoon as my primary instrument. During my time in the program, I served as Band Captain during my sophomore year and as Drum Major during both my junior and senior years.

This program has taught me so much and played a huge role in shaping the person I am today. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return and continue serving the program that has meant so much to me.
